Open Maintenance clicking on Aura OMS ribbon >> Maintenance section: Broker: Setup/Edit Settlement Instructions Configure button.

Click on the Broker: Setup/Edit Settlement Instructions entity. To set up a Settle Instruction in Spark click on the New button or just Copy an existing one.

Depending on the Settlement Instructions, you shall populate the custodian BIC code (BIC) or the Local Identifier Type and its Value.
Additionally, you must indicate the settlement agent BIC populating the Clearing BIC or the Clearing Local Identifier Type and its Value, according to the settlement instructions.
The BIC code consists of 8 or 11 characters. When 8-digits code is given, it refers to the primary office.
- First 4 characters – bank code (only letters)
- Next 2 characters – ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code (only letters)
- Next 2 characters – location code (letters and digits)
- Last 3 characters – branch code, optional (‘XXX’ for primary office) (letters and digits)
The Local Identifiers are typically CRST, DTCY, SCOM, DAKV and EGSP.
