Edit an existing transaction

1. An order can be edited after it was created. Open the Executions report or the Transaction History report.

2. Double-click on the order (or Right-Click and choose “Transactions–>Edit Orders”) and modify any necessary parameter in the ticket

3. Press ‘Replace‘ button:

If the order you want to edit is a FIX order (status NOT MANUAL), Spark will not allow you to edit it completely (only a few fields are editable for FIX trades).

If you need to Edit ALL fields for a FIX trade, you must set the FIX order to Manual and repeat steps 1 and 2 of this article.

If the trade is not historical, but this intraday trade is in the blotter, be careful.
By editing the FIX intraday transaction from the blotter (setup it as MANUAL), you will disconnect the FIX trade from the broker.

You need to be sure you want to disconnect this trade by FIX, and that both you and the broker are aware of this change. If the broker does not know it and you disconnect it, the broker will continue operating.
